The Better Together 5k Run/Walk is part of a community event designed to support the Berea Food Bank and to remind all of us that we are indeed Better Together. <p> </p> <p>Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 8:00AM at Berea City Park, Pirate Parkway, Berea, KY 40403<br></p> <p>This 3rd Annual event – formerly known as the Hunger Hurts Food or Fund Drive is celebrating its 30th anniversary.  That's 31 years of Bereans taking care of each other and 31 years of community support for people and families in need of a little help. </p> <p>Times continue to be challenging for many.</p> <p>Thank goodness we can point to the power of community support; thank goodness we are Better Together.</p> <p>Follow #bettertogether for more!</p> <p>RACE FEATURES:</p> Relatively flat/fast course through Berea City Park and the Berea City TrailWinter beanie/race capsAwards for Top 3 M/F FinishersSomething for everyone - 5K run/walk, Kid's Dash &amp; virtual option (Walkers, strollers, dogs on leashes are welcomed)Free snacks and hot chocolate at the finishCommunity &amp; College celebration - We welcome Berea Alumni back for Homecoming!Social Teams to enhance your race experience (Prize for the largest team!)Part of a free community event - Stay and enjoy the rest!Photo opportunities with our Better Together charactersMusic, food, fun &amp; fellowship <p>This event and your generosity will help keep food on the shelves of the Berea Food Bank well into the new year. </p> 5K ROUTE MAP <p>PACKET PICKUP --- We plan to hold our packet pickup on race morning at Berea Community High School (near the football field/bleachers) from 6:45-7:45am</p>
