In 2009, Turin once again embraced its passion for long-distance running with the 100 Km of the Alps. This 100 Km race of the modern era, with its IAU Bronze label and homologated measurement, has been embraced by passionate runners over the years.The new route will lead participants to run a 10-kilometer circuit, which is to be completed 10 times, in the stunning Valentino Park. This Class A World Athletics certified and approved course will take competitors through some of the beautiful sights of the Savoyard capital. Runners will follow the bank of the Po River towards the city center, before returning to the opposite bank towards Moncalieri, all surrounded by art and nature.
