The Sneaker Store's Jessica Cooper St. Patrick's Day Mad Mile presented by Standard is the best way to kick off a great St. Patrick's Day! Bring your family, your friends, and your best Irish outfit, and get ready to dash down the Genesee Street parade route just ahead of the Utica St. Patrick's Day Parade. With a built-in cheering crowd, this one-mile course with elevation drop will get you revved up to enjoy the day's festivities.
The 1-mile race course is a straight shot down Genesee Street, ending at Colombia Street where we will gather for results and prizes. The course features a downhill section.
The race kicks off at 9:45 AM on Saturday, March 15th. Gather for the start on Clinton Place at Genesee Street at 9:40 AM.
Pre-register online for $20 (does not include a shirt). The cost with a shirt is $30. Register in person at the Sneaker Store on 3/14 or near the start line on race day for $30 (no shirt).
Packet pickup is on Friday, March 14 from 4:00-7:00 PM at The Sneaker Store and on Saturday, March 15 from 8:30-9:15 AM near the start line.
Dress festively for the occasion and bring your race packet if you pick it up on Saturday.
Road closures and delays are expected. Please plan accordingly for parking and extra time to walk to the start. The race cannot be delayed as the parade starts at 10:00 AM.
Prizes will be awarded after the race.

If the Utica St. Patrick's Day Parade is postponed or cancelled, the race and packet pickups will also be postponed or cancelled, and refunds cannot be issued.
