Participate in one of the events of the Spreewald race weekend and get yourself a unique cucumber shaped medal! Runners can choose to run a marathon, one or both half-marathons (Saturday and Sunday) or a 10km run. The 42.2km marathon takes place in Burg on Sunday, and is almost completely asphalted and very fast and fluid to run without any height differences. The route is divided into two parts with 25km and 17km, and 4.5km of the route is not paved, but almost solid sandy roads. The 21.1km half marathon in Burg is similarly almost completely asphalted and very fast and fluid to run with no height differences. 2.5km of the route is not paved, but almost solid sandy roads. The 21.5km half marathon in Lübbenau on Saturday runs through the center of the biosphere reserve Spreewald, with a start and finish at the marketplace in Lübbenau. This route has 50 small bridges and benches, and runs over changing road trains with 500m cobblestone pavement, 4km asphalt, 5km concrete slabs and 12km solid sand path. Lastly, the 10km Antenne Brandenburg Lauf in Burg is completely asphalted and very fast and fluid to run without any height differences, and is suitable for all beginners. Until 4km it runs together with the half marathon and the marathon runners.
