About
The Polderloop is a recreational running competition for all ages and has been organised by V.&A.V. Hazerswoudse Boys for over 30 years. The run is organised 4 times a year and takes place on the last Sunday of the first 4 months of the year.
During the Polderloop, participants can choose from one of the following distances: 1.5 km, 5 km, 10 km, 15 km and ½ marathon.
The route of the different distances runs through the polder landscape between Hazerswoude and Alphen aan de Rijn. The different routes all consist of a full lap, with the 1.5 km and the 5 km using a turning point. The routes mainly go over cycle paths and low-traffic polder roads.
The start is on the cycle path (Westgerepolder) behind the clubhouse of the Hazerswoudse Boys. The finish is on the grounds of the Hazerswoudse Boys next to the changing rooms.
Registration for the Polderloop is possible on the morning itself from 10 am in the canteen of the Hazerswoudse Boys.
