The Lehigh Valley Mental Health Awareness Walk and Resource Expo is an annual event held each May to promote Mental Health Awareness Month. The goal of this event is to raise awareness, provide access to resources and work toward reducing and eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illness.
The day will include:
- 1.2-mile awareness walk through downtown Bethlehem.
- Keynote and guest speakers.
- Resource Expo with over 70 local businesses and Human Service Agencies.
- FREE family friendly activities and games.
- FREE lunch & t-shirts for pre-registered attendees.
- FREE give-a-ways and raffles.
Event Details:
- Inclement Weather: This is a Rain or Shine event. All vendors and entertainment will be set up under large event tents. The walk will take place rain or shine.
- Parking: There is meter parking located at the Wooden Match restaurant and street parking around the event. Please read all parking signs as the event does not have reserved/assigned parking.
- Vendors: Check-in is from 8am to 9am. All vendors must check-in to receive their vendor packets and table assignments. Tables, chairs and tent coverage will be provided. Sales of any kind are not permitted.
- Walkers & "Day of Registrations": Check-in is from 9am-10am. All attendees must check-in. Day of registrations are not guaranteed lunch or t-shirts.
