Get ready to lace up your running shoes and embrace the challenge at the **Furčianský Maraton**, taking place on **April 12, 2025**, at **10:00 AM** in the scenic surroundings of **Košice**, located in the beautiful **Košický kraj**. This exciting marathon promises a unique blend of nature and competition, as you navigate through six exhilarating loops of **7,032.5 meters** each, along a well-maintained promenade path, surrounded by lush forests. Starting from **Furčianska 60**, in the Dargovských hrdinov neighborhood, participants will enjoy a certified asphalt track with a total elevation gain of **382.2 meters** over the full **42.2-kilometer** distance. Each lap is clearly marked every **5 kilometers**, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all runners. Whether you are a seasoned marathoner or a passionate newcomer, the Furčianský Maraton welcomes athletes across various age categories, including men aged **40, 50, 60, and 70**.
