Event Overview
Join us for the Big 5 El Segundo PTA Run for Education, featuring a 5K, 10K, and fun runs for kids. Proceeds benefit the El Segundo Unified Schools, supporting students pre-K-12th grade.
Course Description & Map
The 5K Run/Walk is an easy-to-moderate hill course loop through local neighborhoods on closed streets. The 10K Run essentially runs the 5K loop twice. Course maps are available on Map My Run.
Schedule
Packet Pickup: Thursday April 24th 5-8pm, Friday April 25th 11am-7pm. Race Day Packet Pickup opens at 6:30am on April 26th.
Registration & Pricing
5K Run/Walk: $54.98, 10K Run: $60.31, 1/2K Kids Fun Run: $28.29, 1K Kids Fun Run: $28.29. Prices increase after April 26th, 2024.
Packet Pickup Details
Packet pickup will be available on the specified dates and times before the race and on race morning.
What to Bring
Participants should bring their registration confirmation and any necessary identification.
Race Day Info
Race will be held rain or shine. All participants receive custom die cast finisher medals and a race t-shirt (while supplies last).
Awards & Categories
Awards for top 3 overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K, as well as medals for top 3 in each age category.
