Join us for the 25th annual This Race is for the Birds!
This year, we are again offering in-person and virtual 5K and 10K events. All events require registration. Register by March 5th to guarantee a t-shirt and lock in lower registration fees.
- In-Person 5K Walk/Run and 10K Run/Jog: In-person events will be held on April 5, 2025 at 9:30am at the Broomgrass Farm Community. Enjoy the adventure of running or walking on non-technical cross-country trails that wind through fields and woods and along beautiful Back Creek. The events will be held rain or shine. This year, the 10K course will be two loops on the 5K trail.
- Virtual 5K and 10K Run/Walk/Other: Virtual participants may choose between running, walking, biking, hiking or another way to complete the distances between now and April 5, 2025. Feel free to get creative! Participants will then email their results or photos to [email protected] with the subject “My Results.”
Race packet pick-up is on race day, starting at 8:30 am. Same-day, in-person registration will also begin at 8:30 am on April 5.
As this is a fundraiser for PVAS, no refunds will be offered, and the funds will still go to supporting the important work we do preserving, restoring, and enjoying the natural world through education and action.
